we are updating our netapp storage appliance named CLANGER in order to benefit from bugfixes, performance improvements and better support future growth f.y.i. we are updating from ontap version 9.9.1 to 9.13.1
we are going to use the nondisruptive rolling upgrade method - this way each service will only have (during our two hours maintenance window - indeed it will be less) 2 very short freeze (usually 5 to 30 seconds long) - usually to the end customer these freezes are not distinguishable from a transitory "slowdown of the internet connection", and in any case within 1-2 minutes everything returns to normal
anyway sysadmins will be there monitoring services during the upgrade in order to be ready to any unexpected event
