Scheduled Maintenance
Black Building Test May 5, 08:00-16:00 BST
On the 5th May, we will be performing a black building test of the Reading datacentre where we simulate a mains power failure to the building. Power will be automatically transitioned to the generators during this test.

We do not expect any problems or outages, however this period should be considered at-risk as there will be contractors and engineers on-site as well as transitions to and from generator power.

Completed - The scheduled maintenance has been completed.

In progress - Scheduled maintenance is currently in progress. We will provide updates as necessary.
Apr 12, 21:00 BST
Scheduled - Our supplier will be performing maintenance on the network between our Reading datacentre and Telehouse network site. During this maintenance this link will be down for some of the time, and “at risk” for the remainder of the time, while network upgrades are performed.

During this time traffic will route via our Slough network site and there is plenty of spare capacity between Reading and Slough and between Slough and Telehouse. Customer traffic shouldn’t be impacted by this but in some cases customers may notice that traffic takes different paths across our network and onto the Internet so this should be considered an “at risk” maintenance window.
