we are going to update our netapp storage appliance named CLANGER in order to benefit from bugfixes, performance improvements and better support future growth f.y.i. we are updating from ontap version 9.7 to 9.9.1
we are going to use the nondisruptive rolling upgrade method - this way each service will only have (during a 2 hours window) 2 very short freeze (usually 5 to 30 seconds long) then usually everything will be back to normal quite soon
anyway sysadmins will be there monitoring services during the upgrade in order to be ready to any unexpected event
